Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit is from October to March when Delhi's weather is pleasant and cool, making it comfortable to walk around the extensive outdoor exhibits. The winter months (December-January) are ideal. Avoid the scorching summer months of May and June, as the heat can be intense in the open display areas. The monsoon season (July-September) can also disrupt your visit.

Air

Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is the nearest airport, located just 5 km away. It takes about 15-20 minutes to reach by taxi.

Train

New Delhi Railway Station (NDLS) is about 18 km away, and Delhi Cantonment Railway Station is closer at about 6 km. You can hire auto-rickshaws or taxis from the stations.

Road

The museum is located near the main Delhi-Gurgaon road. It is well-connected by road and can be easily reached by car or taxi from any part of Delhi NCR.

Local Transport

Auto-rickshaws and cabs like Ola/Uber are readily available. The nearest metro stations are Sadar Bazar Cantonment (Magenta Line) and Delhi Aerocity (Airport Line), from where you can take an auto-rickshaw.
