Best Time to Visit

September to May is the most favorable period. Post-monsoon months from September to November offer lush green surroundings and a full river. The winter season, from December to February, is cool and pleasant, making it perfect for walks and outdoor activities. Summer, from March to May, is warmer but ideal for spending time in the river. The heavy monsoon period from June to August is best avoided if you dislike constant rain, though the landscape is exceptionally beautiful.
Peak Crowd: October-December (especially during Dasara, Christmas, and New Year) and on long weekends, when occupancy is highest.
Moderate Crowd: January-May and September, offering a good balance of pleasant weather and moderate occupancy.
Low Crowd: June-August, during the heavy monsoon season, which sees the fewest visitors.

Air

Kannur International Airport (CNN) is the nearest, located about 110 km away (approx. 3-hour drive). Mysuru Airport (MYQ) is about 95 km away (2.5 hours). Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) is a major hub, around 260 km away (5-6 hour drive).

Train

The closest major railway station is Mysuru Junction (MYS), about 90 km away. From Mysuru, you can hire a taxi or take a government bus to Kushalnagar.

Road

The resort is located on the Mysuru-Madikeri highway (NH-275). It's easily accessible by road from Bengaluru (240 km, 5 hours) and Mysuru (90 km, 2 hours). Regular KSRTC and private bus services are available to Kushalnagar.

Local Transport

For local travel from Kushalnagar, auto-rickshaws and taxis are available. For extensive sightseeing in Coorg, it is advisable to hire a car for the day, which can be arranged by the resort.
