Best Time to Visit

The ideal time to visit Anjuna Beach is from November to February. During these months, the weather is dry and pleasant with comfortable temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C. This is also the peak tourist season when all the shacks, markets, and nightlife spots are fully operational. March to May gets progressively hot and humid. The monsoon season, from June to September, brings heavy rain, rough seas, and the closure of most beachside establishments.
Peak Crowd: December-January (Christmas and New Year) and every Wednesday for the flea market.
Moderate Crowd: November, February, and March on weekdays.
Low Crowd: April-October, during the hot summer and monsoon season.

How to Reach

Air

The nearest airports are Manohar International Airport (Mopa - GOX) at 28 km (approx. 1 hour drive) and Goa International Airport (Dabolim - GOI) at 45 km (approx. 1.5-2 hour drive).

Train

Thivim Railway Station (19 km) is the closest major train station. Karmali (29 km) and Madgaon (54 km) are other options with good connectivity. Taxis are available at all stations.

Road

Anjuna is well-connected by road. It is about 9 km from Mapusa and 21 km from Panjim. You can hire a taxi or take a bus from major towns in Goa. It is accessible via NH-66 which connects Goa to Mumbai and Mangalore.

Local Transport

Renting a scooter (around ₹300-600 per day) is the most common way to get around. Auto-rickshaws, motorcycle taxis, and app-based taxis like Goa Miles are also available.
