The best time to visit Apsarakonda Waterfalls is from September to February. During this post-monsoon period, the waterfall has a healthy flow of water and the surrounding vegetation is vibrant green. The weather is also pleasant and cool, making it ideal for climbing to the viewpoint. The summer months from March to May can be hot and humid, and the water level in the falls might be low. The monsoon season (June to August) sees the waterfall at its peak but heavy rains can make the paths slippery and unsafe.

Apsarakonda is located right off National Highway 66 (NH-66). It is 20 km from Murudeshwar, 8 km from Honnavar, and 75 km from Gokarna. KSRTC buses and private buses frequently travel along this highway.

From Honnavar or Murudeshwar, hiring an auto-rickshaw or a local taxi is the most convenient way to get to the waterfalls. They are readily available in the main town areas.
