Best Time to Visit

• The ideal time to visit Athirapally Falls is from September to January. During this post-monsoon period, the waterfall is full and powerful, and the surrounding greenery is lush. The weather is pleasant for the walk and trek. The monsoon months, from June to August, offer the most spectacular, roaring view of the falls, but heavy rains can make the trek to the base slippery and risky, sometimes leading to its closure. The summer months, from February to May, have considerably less water flow.
• Peak Crowd: October to January, especially on weekends and public holidays, due to pleasant weather and excellent water flow.
