The best time to visit is from October to February when the weather is dry and pleasant, with comfortable temperatures for sightseeing. This period offers clear skies, ideal for photography. The summer months from March to May can be very hot and humid, making the visit less comfortable.

The beach is well-connected by road from Trivandrum and Kovalam. It is located just off the road leading to Poovar. Taxis and auto-rickshaws are readily available.

Auto-rickshaws from Kovalam town cost around ₹150-₹200. Taxis are also available. You can rent scooters in Kovalam for more flexibility. Ride-hailing services operate in the area.
