Located just below the Krishnaraja Sagar (KRS) Dam, Brindavan Gardens is a large, beautifully laid out terraced garden. It's famous for its symmetrical design, lush green lawns, and vibrant flowerbeds. The garden is divided into two main parts, North Brindavan and South Brindavan, separated by the Kaveri river. Visitors can walk across a bridge or take a short boat ride to move between the two sections. The main attraction is the series of ornamental fountains that are spread across the garden.

Brindavan Gardens is well-connected by road from Mysore (20 km) and Bengaluru (150 km). Frequent KSRTC and private buses ply between Mysore and the KRS Dam. Driving from Bengaluru takes about 3-4 hours via the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway.
Local Transport
From Mysore city, KSRTC buses from the City Bus Stand are the most budget-friendly option. Auto-rickshaws and taxis can be hired for a round trip. It's advisable to book a cab for the return journey in advance, especially if you stay late.
