A unique rocky beach in Kasargod known for its distinctive laterite rock formations and impressive sunset views over the Arabian Sea.
Chembirika Beach is unlike the typical sandy shores of Kerala. Its coastline is defined by large, dark laterite rock formations that stretch out into the Arabian Sea, creating a rugged and dramatic landscape. The main attraction here isn't sunbathing or swimming, but exploring the rocky terrain and watching the powerful waves crash against the shore. A particular rock formation, known locally as 'Thuruthu', resembles a sitting buffalo and is a popular spot for photos.
