The ideal time to visit Cheruvathur is from October to March, when the weather is pleasant and dry with comfortable temperatures, perfect for backwater cruises. For a unique cultural experience, plan your trip during the Theyyam season, which runs from December to April. The summer months from March to May can be very hot and humid. The monsoon season, from June to September, brings heavy rainfall, which can disrupt boating and other outdoor activities, although the landscape is exceptionally green and lush.
