A grand palace complex in Jaipur's heart blending Rajput and Mughal styles. Part royal residence and part museum, it showcases historic courtyards and artifacts.
Discover what makes this destination truly special

The City Palace stands in the center of Jaipur's old walled city, a striking complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings. Its construction began with the city's founder, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, and it showcases a thoughtful mix of Rajput, Mughal, and later, European architectural styles. A large part of the palace is still the home of Jaipur's former royal family, which gives the place a unique, living atmosphere that separates it from other historical monuments.
