Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit is from November to February. During these months, the weather in Goa is dry and pleasant, and the tourist season is in full swing, meaning the party scene is at its peak. This is when Curlies hosts its most significant events. The monsoon season, from June to September, is the off-season, and the shack may have limited operations or be closed entirely. March to May is hot and humid, with fewer crowds.
Peak Crowd: December-January (Christmas and New Year's), and on weekends from November to February.
Moderate Crowd: Weekday evenings during the tourist season (November, February-March).
Low Crowd: Daytime on weekdays, and during the shoulder seasons (April-May) and monsoon (June-September).

How to Reach

Air

Goa has two airports. Manohar International Airport (MOPA) is 29 km away (approx. 1 hour), and Dabolim Airport (GOI) is 45 km away (approx. 1.5 hours). Pre-paid and app-based taxis are available at both airports.

Train

The nearest railway station is Thivim (THVM), located 19 km away. Other stations are Karmali (KRMI) and Madgaon (MAO). Taxis and auto-rickshaws can be hired from the station to Anjuna.

Road

Anjuna is well-connected by road to major Goan towns like Mapusa (8 km) and Panjim (21 km). Interstate buses connect Goa to cities like Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore, usually terminating at Mapusa or Panjim bus stands.

Local Transport

Renting a scooter or a bike (around ₹300-500 per day) is the most convenient way to explore the area. Local taxis and auto-rickshaws are readily available. The Goa Miles app is a state-run taxi service option.
