Dal Lake - The Jewel of Srinagar

Dal Lake is a large urban lake in Srinagar, central to the city's life and a primary tourist attraction. Visitors primarily experience the lake through a 'Shikara', a traditional wooden gondola-style boat, often with cushioned seats and a canopy.
