Best Time to Visit

The best time for dolphin watching is from October to May when the sea is calm and the weather is clear. Morning hours are ideal for sightings. The activity is generally closed during the monsoon season, from June to September, because of rough seas and strong winds, which make boat trips unsafe. The peak tourist season from December to January is great weather-wise but also the most crowded.
Peak Crowd: December-January, long weekends, and school holidays. This is the main tourist season in Goa.
Moderate Crowd: October-November and February-March. The weather is still excellent with slightly fewer tourists.
Low Crowd: April-May due to rising temperatures. Trips are unavailable from June-September due to the monsoon.

How to Reach

Air

Goa has two airports. Dabolim Airport (GOI) is about 38 km from Sinquerim (1-1.5 hours). Manohar International Airport (GOX) in Mopa is about 35 km away (1-1.5 hours). Taxis are available from both airports.

Train

The main railway stations are Madgaon (MAO) and Vasco da Gama (VSG). Madgaon is about 48 km from Sinquerim, while Thivim (THVM) is the closest station for North Goa beaches like Sinquerim (22 km away).

Road

Goa is well-connected by road via NH 66 and NH 748. Regular bus services from major cities like Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru are available. You can drive or hire a taxi to reach the specific beach for the trip.

Local Transport

Within Goa, taxis, auto-rickshaws, and app-based cab services are widely available. Renting a scooter or a car is a very popular and convenient way to get around and reach the departure points for the dolphin trip.
