The Don Bosco Museum, officially the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, is a comprehensive institution dedicated to preserving and showcasing the diverse cultures of Northeast India. Housed in a unique seven-story hexagonal building, the museum takes visitors on a journey through the traditions, lifestyles, and heritage of the region's many indigenous communities. Each floor is dedicated to a specific theme, with 17 well-curated galleries displaying artifacts, costumes, tools, weapons, and intricate dioramas.

The nearest major airport is Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (GAU) in Guwahati, Assam, about 100 km away. From there, it's a 3-4 hour drive to Shillong by taxi or shared cab. Shillong also has a smaller airport at Umroi (SHL), 30 km away, with limited flight connectivity.
