Located in Rameswaram, the hometown of India's 11th President, the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam National Memorial is a tribute to his life and work. Built by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) at his burial site, the memorial's design is a thoughtful blend of Mughal and traditional Indian architecture. The main structure features a prominent dome, similar to the one at Rashtrapati Bhavan, and is constructed with materials sourced from across India, symbolizing national unity.
