Gulab Bagh, also known as Sajjan Niwas Garden, is the largest garden in Udaipur, spread over 100 acres. Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Gulab Bagh and Zoo is from October to March when the weather is cool and pleasant, making it ideal for walking around the large garden. Temperatures during these months are comfortable, ranging from 12°C to 28°C. The summer months, from April to June, are extremely hot and best avoided. The monsoon season, from July to September, brings greenery to the park but the high humidity and rain can sometimes disrupt plans.

Udaipur City Railway Station is the closest, just 2 km away. You can easily hire an auto-rickshaw or taxi from the station, which will take about 10 minutes.

Road

Udaipur is well-connected by road via NH 48 and NH 58. The garden is located centrally and is a well-known landmark, making it easily accessible by car or bus from nearby cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Ahmedabad.

Local Transport

Auto-rickshaws are the most common mode of transport within Udaipur. Taxis and app-based services like Ola and Uber are also available. Local city buses have stops near the main entrance of the garden.
