Gulmarg as a destination is open 24/7. However, the main attraction, the Gulmarg Gondola, typically operates from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Timings are heavily dependent on weather conditions and may be suspended without notice. Ticket counters close earlier, around 3:00 PM.
There is no entry fee to visit the town of Gulmarg itself. However, fees apply for specific activities and attractions. The Gulmarg Gondola ride has separate charges for Phase I (to Kongdoori) and Phase II (to Apharwat Peak). As of recent estimates, Phase I costs around ₹740 and Phase II costs around ₹950 per person. Prices are subject to change.
