Air
The nearest airport is Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport (SXR) in Srinagar, located about 56 km away. From the airport, you can hire a pre-paid taxi or a private cab to reach Gulmarg, a journey of about 2 hours.

The nearest major railway station is Jammu Tawi (JAT), about 290 km away. From Jammu, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Srinagar, and then proceed to Gulmarg. The journey from Jammu to Gulmarg can take a full day.
Road
Gulmarg is well-connected by road to Srinagar. The drive takes around 2 hours via NH1. Regular bus services and shared taxis are available from Srinagar. During winter, the road from Tangmarg to Gulmarg may require vehicles fitted with snow chains.
Local Transport
Within Gulmarg, the main modes of transport are walking, pony rides, and ATVs (in summer). For reaching ski slopes or viewpoints, the Gulmarg Gondola is the primary option. Taxis are available for local sightseeing to nearby areas.
