Haji Ali Juice Centre - Mumbai's Legendary Foodie Spot

Established in the 1960s by Fareed Noorani, Haji Ali Juice Centre started as a modest stall catering to visitors of the nearby Haji Ali Dargah. Its location on a major arterial road and its commitment to using fresh, quality ingredients quickly made it popular. Over the decades, it expanded its menu from simple juices to a wide range of milkshakes, fruit creams, and fast food. It pioneered the concept of fresh fruit creams in the city, particularly the Sitafal cream. The centre has retained its original character and remains a family-run business, becoming an integral part of Mumbai's culinary identity and a beloved institution.

Haji Ali Juice Centre holds significant cultural importance in Mumbai's food scene. It is more than just an eatery; it's a social institution and a landmark in its own right. Its reputation is built on decades of consistent quality and its status as one of the city's premier late-night hangouts. The place is famous for popularizing fresh fruit with cream desserts, a concept now widely copied. For generations of Mumbaikars, it's a place tied to memories of late-night drives and post-dinner treats, making it a nostalgic and essential part of the city's experience.
