Best Time to Visit

The best time to stay here and explore Hampi is from October to February. During these months, the weather is pleasant and cool, with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C, making it ideal for sightseeing. The summer months, from March to June, are extremely hot and dry, often exceeding 40°C. The monsoon season, from July to September, brings rain which makes the landscape green, but can sometimes hinder travel plans and outdoor activities.
Peak Crowd: November to January, and long weekends. This is the peak tourist season for Hampi due to the excellent weather.
Moderate Crowd: October, February, and March. The weather is still good, but crowds are slightly thinner than in peak season.
Low Crowd: April to September. This period sees the fewest visitors due to extreme summer heat followed by the monsoon.

How to Reach

Air

The nearest airport is Vidyanagar Airport (VDY) in Toranagallu, about 40 km away (approx. 1-hour drive). Hubli Airport (HBX) is another option, located 160 km away (approx. 3-4 hours drive).

Train

Hosapete Junction (HPT) is the closest railway station, located 16 km from the resort. It is well-connected to major cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Goa. Taxis and auto-rickshaws are available at the station.

Road

The resort is well-connected by road. It is about 350 km from Bengaluru (approx. 6-7 hour drive) and 380 km from Hyderabad (approx. 7-8 hour drive). The roads are generally in good condition.

Local Transport

For exploring Hampi, you can hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw for the day through the resort. Renting a scooter or bicycle in Hampi Bazaar is also a popular option for independent travelers.
