Hill View Park is a well-maintained garden located on a small hill near the Idukki Arch Dam. Its primary draw is the expansive, panoramic view it provides of the Idukki and Cheruthoni dams, along with the vast reservoir they hold back. Visitors walk up a gentle slope from the entrance to reach various viewpoints. The park itself is spread over about 8 acres and includes landscaped gardens, pathways, and seating areas where you can relax and take in the scenery.

December-January, long weekends, and during the Onam (August/September) and Christmas holidays when the dam is open for public access.
September-November and February-March, particularly on weekends.
April-May due to summer heat, June-August during the monsoon season, and on weekdays throughout the year.
