Best Time to Visit

The best time to stay is from October to March. During these months, the weather is dry and pleasant with comfortable temperatures, making it ideal for beach activities and sightseeing. The peak tourist season is from December to January, so expect more people. The monsoon season, from June to September, brings heavy rainfall. April and May are typically hot and humid, but you may find lower room rates during this off-season period.
Peak Crowd: December to January, especially around Christmas and New Year's, due to perfect weather and holiday season travel.
Moderate Crowd: October-November and February-March, when the weather is still excellent but the peak holiday rush has subsided.

Air

The nearest airport is Trivandrum International Airport (TRV), located approximately 45 km away. A taxi from the airport to the resort takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.

Train

Varkala Sivagiri Railway Station (VAK) is the closest station, just 3 km from the resort. It is well-connected by trains from Trivandrum, Kochi, and other major Indian cities. Auto-rickshaws and taxis are available at the station.

Road

Varkala has good road connectivity with major cities in Kerala like Trivandrum (45 km) and Kollam (35 km). The resort is easily accessible by car or taxi from National Highway 66 (NH 66). State-run and private buses also operate frequently.

Local Transport

Auto-rickshaws are the most convenient way to get around Varkala. You can also rent scooters or motorcycles from shops near the cliff area to explore independently. The hotel can help arrange for local taxis.
