Located inside the historic Red Fort complex, the Indian War Memorial Museum occupies the first and second floors of the Naubat Khana, or the Drum House. This museum is dedicated to commemorating the soldiers of the Indian Army who participated in World War I and subsequent conflicts on behalf of the British Empire. Upon entering, visitors are greeted with a collection that showcases the military history of that era. The displays include a variety of weapons like machine guns, mortars, and personal firearms, alongside soldiers' uniforms, flags, and medals.

November to January, weekends, and on national holidays like Republic Day and Independence Day, due to peak tourist season and pleasant weather.

Open on all days except Mondays. Last entry to the Red Fort complex is generally around 16:30. The museum follows the timings of the fort.
Entry to the museum is included in the main entrance ticket for the Red Fort. Indian citizens: ₹60. Foreign nationals: ₹950. Citizens of SAARC and BIMSTEC countries: ₹60. Entry is free for children below 15 years of age. Ticket prices are subject to change by the ASI.
