Jaswant Garh is a war memorial dedicated to the incredible bravery of Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, Maha Vir Chakra (Posthumous), of the 4th Garhwal Rifles infantry regiment. Located about 25 kilometers from Tawang, near Sela Pass, this site commemorates his lone battle against the invading Chinese army for 72 hours during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. The atmosphere here is one of deep respect and patriotism, maintained impeccably by the Indian Army.
