Thiruvananthapuram is connected by NH66 to Kochi and Kanyakumari. The main boating area at Thiruvallam is easily accessible by road from both Thiruvananthapuram city and Kovalam.

Local Transport

Auto-rickshaws and taxis (including Ola/Uber) are the most convenient ways to reach the river's boating points. KSRTC city buses also operate frequently on the route between the city center and Kovalam, with a stop at Thiruvallam.
