A scenic 12 km trek in Parvati Valley leading to a meadow with natural hot water springs and incredible Himalayan views.
Khir Ganga is a high-altitude meadow in Himachal's Parvati Valley, reached via a popular trek. The main draw is a natural hot water spring, or 'Parvati Kund,' where visitors can bathe in warm, sulfurous water while surrounded by snow-capped peaks. The experience is as much about the journey as the destination. The trek, typically starting from the village of Barshaini, is about 12 kilometers long and takes 4-6 hours one way. It winds through dense pine forests, past small villages, and alongside the roaring Parvati River. You'll encounter several waterfalls and simple cafes along the path where you can rest.
