Lidderwat - Scenic Trekking Base Camp in Pahalgam

Lidderwat is a large, scenic meadow situated at an altitude of about 3,000 meters in the Kashmir Himalayas. It serves as a crucial camping site and junction for several high-altitude treks originating from Aru Valley, near Pahalgam. The meadow unfolds along the banks of the Lidder River, which flows vigorously through its center. The landscape is defined by vast green pastures dotted with clusters of pine and fir trees, all set against a backdrop of tall, snow-covered mountains. The primary experience here is trekking and camping. Trekkers on their way to the Kolahoi Glacier or the Tarsar Marsar lakes halt here for the night to acclimatize and rest.
