Srinagar International Airport (SXR) is the nearest airport, located approximately 115 km away. A taxi from the airport to Lolab Valley will take about 4-5 hours.
Train
The nearest major railway stations are Udhampur (280 km) and Jammu Tawi (370 km). From either station, you would need to travel to Srinagar by road (a 7-10 hour journey) and then proceed to the valley.
Road
The valley is connected by road from Srinagar via Sopore and Kupwara. The total distance is around 115 km, and the drive takes about 3-4 hours. The route is scenic, passing through towns and apple orchards.
Local Transport
The best option is to hire a private taxi from Srinagar for a full-day trip, which allows for flexibility. Shared taxis are a budget option up to Kupwara, but you will need to hire another local taxi from there to explore the valley.
