Best Time to Visit

The best time to stay is from October to March, when the weather is dry and pleasant with temperatures ranging from 22°C to 32°C. This is the peak tourist season with a lively atmosphere. Avoid the summer months of April and May, which are very hot and humid. The monsoon season, from June to September, sees heavy rainfall, and the beach can be rough, with many shacks, including parts of the resort, potentially being closed or offering limited services.

How to Reach

Air

The nearest airport is Dabolim Airport (GOI) in Goa, about 145 km away (3-4 hours by taxi). Mangalore International Airport (IXE) is another option, around 235 km away (5-6 hours drive).

Train

The nearest railway station is Gokarna Road (GOK), which is about 10 km from the town. However, not all trains stop here. Ankola (ANKL), 20 km away, and Kumta (KT), 25 km away, are better connected major stations.

Road

Gokarna is well-connected by road via NH 66. KSRTC and private buses run regularly from Bangalore (approx. 485 km), Mangalore (approx. 235 km), and Goa (approx. 145 km).

Local Transport

From Gokarna town, auto-rickshaws are the primary mode of transport to reach Kudle Beach. You can also rent scooters or motorcycles in town for local sightseeing.
