Discover what makes this destination truly special

Mani Bhavan is a simple, two-story building on a quiet lane that served as Mahatma Gandhi's Mumbai headquarters for 17 formative years, from 1917 to 1934. The space functions as a museum, library, and research center dedicated to his life and work. Visitors can walk through the rooms and get a real sense of his life here. The ground floor has a library with an extensive collection of books related to Gandhi, while the first floor features a photo gallery chronicling his life through pictures and press clippings.
