• The best time to visit Srinagar is from March to October when the weather is pleasant. September and October offer clear skies and comfortable temperatures. While the shrine is open year-round, winters (December to February) can be very cold with heavy snowfall, which might pose travel challenges. Visiting during the annual Urs of Dastgeer Sahib offers a unique cultural experience, but expect very large crowds during that period.
