The best time to visit Mayem Lake is from October to March. During these months, the weather is cool and pleasant, making it ideal for boating and being outdoors. The period just after the monsoon, from October to December, is particularly beautiful as the surrounding hills are exceptionally green and lush. The summer months from April to May can be quite hot, while the monsoon season from June to September often experiences heavy rainfall that can disrupt boating activities.

Train

Mayem Lake is well-connected by road and is located near Bicholim town. It is about 35 km from Panjim and 25 km from Calangute. Renting a car or scooter is a popular way to get here.

Local Transport
