Melody World Wax Museum - A Musical Journey in Mysore

Melody World Wax Museum was established in October 2010. It was conceptualized and created by Shreeji Bhaskaran, an IT professional from Bengaluru, as a result of his deep passion for music. Unlike other wax museums, his vision was to create a space that paid tribute to musicians and the instruments they play. The museum is located in a heritage residential building that is over 90 years old, which adds to its distinct atmosphere. It was designed to be both an entertaining and educational attraction, showcasing the diversity of global music.

The museum's significance lies in its unique theme, as it is one of the few wax museums in India, and possibly the world, dedicated exclusively to music. It serves as an educational center, displaying a wide variety of musical instruments from different eras and cultures. For visitors, it offers a visual and informative journey through the history of music. The museum also holds cultural value by honoring musicians and musical traditions, both Indian and international, through the medium of wax art.
