Upon arrival, you'll find a quiet stretch of sand flanked by rocky headlands and dense foliage. The best time to visit Monkey Beach is from October to May when the sea is calm and suitable for boat travel and water activities. The peak season, from November to February, offers the most pleasant weather, with clear skies and comfortable temperatures. The trips are closed during the monsoon months, from June to September, due to dangerously rough seas. Visiting in October or from March to May can mean fewer crowds, but temperatures will be higher.
Peak Crowd: November to January, especially on weekends and during Christmas and New Year holidays, when Goa sees its highest tourist influx.
Moderate Crowd: October, February, and March when the weather is still good but the peak season crowds have thinned.

Goa International Airport (GOI) in Dabolim is the nearest airport. The main departure jetties like Sinquerim are about 35-40 km away (60-90 minutes by taxi).

Train

The closest major railway stations are Vasco da Gama (VSG), approximately 25-30 km away, and Margao (MAO), about 40-45 km away from the North Goa jetties.

Road

Goa is well-connected by National Highways. To reach the beach, you must first drive to a specific boat jetty (e.g., Sinquerim, Coco Beach, Dona Paula) from where the tours depart.

Local Transport

Once in Goa, you can hire a taxi, pilot (motorcycle taxi), or rent a scooter/car to get to the designated departure jetty for your pre-booked boat trip.
