Commonly known as Mysore Zoo, the Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens is one of the oldest and most well-regarded zoos in India. Spread across 157 acres, it provides a home to a wide array of animal species from different parts of the world. The enclosures are designed to be spacious and replicate natural habitats, set within a lush, garden-like environment. Visitors can walk along clean, tree-lined paths to see animals like giraffes, elephants, zebras, white tigers, and green anacondas.

Open on all days except Tuesdays. The zoo is closed every Tuesday for weekly maintenance. Last entry is usually one hour before closing time.
For Adults: ₹100 on weekdays, ₹125 on weekends & public holidays. For Children (5-12 years): ₹50 on weekdays, ₹60 on weekends & public holidays. Entry is free for children below 5 years. There are no separate fees for foreign nationals. Camera is allowed without any fees. Electric Buggy has separate charges.
