The National Museum of Indian Cinema offers a comprehensive journey through more than a century of Indian filmmaking. The museum is spread across two distinct buildings: the 19th-century heritage bungalow, Gulshan Mahal, and a sleek, modern structure known as the New Museum Building. The experience begins in Gulshan Mahal, which chronologically traces the evolution of Indian cinema from the silent era of Dadasaheb Phalke to the advent of sound and the golden age. Here, you'll find vintage artifacts, posters, and equipment that narrate the story of India's cinematic origins.
