Panchalimedu is a scenic viewpoint situated at an altitude of about 2,500 feet above sea level in the Idukki district. The place is known for its refreshing climate, strong winds, and wide-ranging views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The main experience involves a short trek up a grassy hill to reach the summit. From the top, you can see a 360-degree panorama of the landscape, which is particularly beautiful during sunrise and sunset. On clear days, distant towns and the Makarajyothi at Sabarimala can be spotted.
