A small island in Vembanad Lake, accessible only by boat, known for its diverse population of resident and migratory birds. Ideal for birdwatching and nature walks.
Pathiramanal is a small, uninhabited island located in the middle of Vembanad Lake in Kerala. The name translates to 'sands of night'. Accessible only by boat, a trip here is as much about the journey across the backwaters as it is about the destination. Once you arrive at the simple jetty, you step into a dense world of tropical plants and trees, crisscrossed by narrow, unpaved walking paths.
