Pookode Lake is a natural freshwater lake located in the Wayanad district of Kerala. Situated at a high altitude, the lake is surrounded by dense evergreen forests and rolling hills, creating a refreshing atmosphere for visitors. The lake's most distinct feature is its shape, which resembles the map of India. A well-maintained walking path encircles the entire lake, allowing for a pleasant stroll of about 1.5 kilometers through the woods.
