Best Time to Visit

The best months to visit are from September to March. During this period, the monsoon has ended, leaving the hillsides lush and green under clear, sunny skies. The weather is cool and pleasant, ideal for sightseeing. Avoid the heavy monsoon season from June to August, as continuous rain and thick fog can completely obstruct the view and make the roads slippery and unsafe.
Peak Crowd: November to January and on all weekends, due to peak tourist season and pleasant weather.
Moderate Crowd: September, October, February, and March on weekdays.
Low Crowd: June to August during the heavy monsoon season when visibility is poor.

Train

The nearest major railway station is Aluva (AWY), about 110 km away. Angamaly (AFK) is also nearby. Taxis and buses are available from the station to Munnar.

Road

Munnar is well-connected by road to major cities in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The viewpoint is located on the Munnar-Bisonvalley road, about 6 km from Munnar town.
