The ideal time to visit Pullumedu is from September to March. During these months, the monsoons have rejuvenated the landscape, leaving the meadows vibrantly green under clear blue skies. The weather is cool and pleasant, perfect for sightseeing. Avoid the heavy monsoon season from June to August, as the route can be difficult and the area might be closed to visitors. Summer months of April and May can be warm, and the grass may not be as lush.
Peak Crowd: December-January, especially during the Makaravilakku festival season, when it attracts many pilgrims.
Moderate Crowd: October-November and February-March, during the peak tourist season in Thekkady.
