Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, located on the banks of the Yamuna River in Delhi. It marks the exact spot where he was cremated on January 31, 1948, a day after his assassination. The memorial itself is a simple, open-air platform made of black marble, symbolizing the simplicity of Gandhi's life. An eternal flame burns at one end, a constant tribute to his enduring legacy. The platform is inscribed with his last words, "Hē Ram" (Oh God).

Open on all days of the week. A prayer meeting is held every Friday at 17:00. Special prayer meetings are also held on October 2nd (Gandhi's birth anniversary) and January 30th (his death anniversary).
