A beautifully restored 16th-century Portuguese fort on the Mandovi River, offering panoramic views and a cultural gallery.
Discover what makes this destination truly special

Reis Magos Fort stands on the northern bank of the Mandovi River, directly opposite the city of Panjim. This well-preserved structure is one of Goa's older forts and offers a quieter alternative to the more frequented Aguada Fort. After extensive restoration, the fort now serves as a cultural center, showcasing Goa's history and heritage through various galleries and exhibitions. Visitors enter via a steep ramp leading to the main gate. Inside, you can walk along the laterite stone ramparts, which are lined with original Portuguese and British cannons. The high walls provide expansive views of the river, the sea beyond, and the Panjim skyline.
