Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Samode Palace is from October to March. During these months, the weather in Rajasthan is pleasant and cool, with daytime temperatures ideal for exploring the property and its surroundings. The peak winter months of December and January are especially popular. The summer, from April to June, is extremely hot and best avoided. The monsoon season, from July to September, brings rain and humidity, but the Aravalli hills turn a lush green, offering a different kind of beauty.
Peak Crowd: October-March, especially during long weekends, Diwali, Christmas, and New Year holidays when both international and domestic tourism is at its highest.
Moderate Crowd: July-September and April. The monsoon season sees some visitors, as do the shoulder months before and after peak season.

Air

Jaipur International Airport (JAI) is the nearest airport, located approximately 55 km from the palace. A taxi from the airport will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.

Train

Jaipur Junction Railway Station is the closest major railhead, about 42 km away. The station is well-connected to major Indian cities. You can hire a pre-paid taxi from the station for the 75-90 minute drive.

Road

Samode is well-connected by road and is located about 40 km from Jaipur city. The drive takes around 1.5 hours via the Jaipur-Sikar road. Taxis are easily available from anywhere in Jaipur.
