Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit is from October to March when the weather is cool and pleasant, ideal for open-air dining. Evenings are the only time the restaurant is open and offer the most magical experience with sunset views and illuminated palaces. Avoid the monsoon season (July to September) as heavy rain can disrupt the outdoor seating arrangement. Booking during a full moon night can provide an exceptionally beautiful view over the lake.
Peak Crowd: November to February, all weekends, and festival periods. Reservations are extremely difficult to get on short notice.
Moderate Crowd: March, September-October. Weekdays are slightly easier for bookings.
Low Crowd: April to June due to the summer heat, although it remains a popular choice for in-house guests.

Udaipur is well-connected by National Highways like NH 48 and NH 58. It is approximately 660 km from Delhi (11-12 hours) and 250 km from Ahmedabad (4-5 hours). Regular state-run and private buses connect Udaipur with nearby cities.
