Shendurney Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected forest area located in the Kollam district of Kerala, forming a part of the larger Agasthyamalai Biosphere Reserve. Established in 1984, the sanctuary surrounds the reservoir of the Thenmala Dam, also known as the Parappar Dam. The landscape is a mix of tropical evergreen and semi-evergreen forests, with varied terrain that includes hills and valleys. The sanctuary is named after an endemic and endangered tree species, Gluta travancorica, locally called 'Chenkurinji'.
