Best Time to Visit

• The ideal time to visit Sinthan Top is from late May to September. During these months, the road is open and the weather is most favorable for travel. In June and July, you can enjoy a mix of green meadows and accessible snowfields. August sees the landscape at its greenest. By September, the weather starts getting colder again, but the skies are often very clear. The pass remains closed for traffic from around November to April due to heavy snowfall, making it inaccessible.
• Peak Crowd: June to August, particularly on weekends and local holidays when families from nearby towns visit.
• Moderate Crowd: May and September, during the shoulder season.
• Low Crowd: Weekdays throughout the open season. The pass is generally much less crowded than other Kashmiri destinations.
