Discover what makes this destination truly special

The Statue of Equality is a massive monument dedicated to the 11th-century Vaishnava saint, Sri Ramanujacharya. The main highlight is the 216-foot tall statue of the saint in a seated posture, making it one of the tallest sitting statues in the world. This statue, known as 'Samata Murthy', is crafted from 'panchaloha', a traditional five-metal alloy. It rests on a three-story base building called the 'Bhadra Vedi', which houses a smaller, 120 kg gold statue of Ramanuja for daily worship, a digital library, a research center, and a gallery depicting key moments from the saint's life.
