Sweet Falls, known locally as Kshaid Weitden, is a striking plunge waterfall located a short distance from Shillong. It drops from a height of about 96 meters (315 feet) in a single, powerful column of water, making it one of the steepest in the region. The force of the water creates a constant mist and a loud roar, especially noticeable at the base. The waterfall is set within a forested area, adding to its raw, natural feel.
