Best Season:The best time to visit is from July to October. During these monsoon months, the waterfall is at its most powerful and the surrounding forest is lush and green. The trek is more challenging due to rain and slippery paths but also more rewarding. From November to January, the water flow reduces but the weather is pleasant for trekking. Avoid visiting from March to May, as the waterfall is often completely dry and the heat is intense.

The Tambdi Surla Waterfalls is located deep inside the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary. Reaching it requires a moderately challenging trek of about 90 minutes through dense forest. The trail is uneven, crosses streams, and can be muddy, especially during the monsoon season. The path is well-defined but rugged, involving some rock scrambling. As you walk, you'll be surrounded by the sounds of the jungle and see a wide variety of plants and, if you're quiet, maybe some local wildlife.

These are the general sanctuary timings. It is highly recommended to start the trek no later than 14:00 to ensure a safe return before dusk. Open all days.

Entry fee is for the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary. Adults ₹20, Students ₹10. Still Camera fee ₹30, Video Camera fee ₹150. Prices are approximate and subject to change by the Forest Department.
