A Sufi pilgrimage site in Vagamon featuring a massive rock and the tomb of Sheikh Fariduddin, offering panoramic views of the hills.
Thangal Para is a significant pilgrimage site for Muslims, located atop a hill in Vagamon. The main feature is a massive spherical rock formation and the Dargah, or tomb, of Sheikh Fariduddin, a Sufi saint who is believed to have arrived here from Afghanistan around 800 years ago. Visitors undertake a short but moderately steep trek up a rocky path to reach the summit. At the top, besides the Dargah, you are rewarded with an expansive 360-degree view of the surrounding green hills and valleys, a characteristic landscape of Vagamon.
